Reports were received by London Zoo that a puma was spotted forty-five miles south of London.

The reports were extrodinarily similar in nature.

A woman pucking blackberry in a small village saw the puma.

It moved from one place to another place.

Wherever it went, it left behind it a trail of dead deer and small animals such as rabbits.

Paw prints and puma fur were found as well.

Some people complained of cat-like noises at night.

A bussinessman on a fishing trip saw the puma up a tree.

The experts were fully convinced that the animal was a puma.

A plan to improve my English writing

I have learned English for many years, although I can communicate with English-native speakers, I cannot write English articles freely, so I made a decision to improve my English writing.

Now I am reading New concept English Book 3, so I want to rewrite the text first, then according to the direction of the book, finish the summary wring and composition. In the writing, I will practise the expressions I have learnt in the book.

And I also do some reading every day, and I wiil learn some sentences through reading, also I will use them in the writing. I know reading plays an important role in the writing. The more you read, the better you write.

Here I post the plan to all the people who read the blog, and I wish we can make prtogress togather.

bachlor's day

Today is 11 November and it is the bachlar's day according to the net. Although it is a festival originated in the internet in China, but it reflects a social phenominon in this country.

With the development of modern society, more and more young people are busy working, and they do not have enough time to make friends. For an example, there are 14 guys in my office, but more than six are single, even do not have girl friends. In the early this year, the trade union organized a meet for the young boys and girls to know each other, but few can make friends. Maybe they are looking for a better one.

I write this article for english writing , I wish I can keep on writing every week, so I can improve my writing.

thrilling robbery

One pitch-dark rainy night, about 8:30 pm, my roommate and her shimei were going to catch train to join a meeting held in Wuhan. Hardly had they arrived the bus station nearby our school gate, when the last bus left. So they had to take other bus on the other side of the roade.

They took the umbrellas and their handbags with their hands, respectively, and with a luggage which was taken by her shimei additionally. They moved to the bus station side by side with entirely unwareing anything potentially dangerous, when two motor robbers beared up for them and seized shimei��s handbag intending to grab it. Shimei immediately grasped her bag firmly and was pulled down on the ground by the motorbike drove by the two robbers. She remained held her bag so hardly that she was dragged on the floor in a short distance, and then the motorbike carried the two robbers was out of balance and fell down on the floor finally. Shimei held her bag in her arms at once, turned around immediately, and run to the orientation which my roommate was. The whole thing was occurred so abruptly that it was almost blank in their minds at that moment.

Everyone would think that the two guys should have run away without success. But it was very incrediblely that one of them stood up from the floor and run straight forward to my roommate. Hardly had she reacted, when the man pushed her down the floor and grabed her handbag easily. Then he jumped across shrubbery which along the roadside, rided on their complic's motorbike, and run away. The bag, in which were the 1000 yuan cash, the mobilephone, the digital camera, all certificates and the bank cards, etc., was robbed.

The tragedy have happened inevitably. I don��t want to scold the two bad eggs here any more, they will pay the cost of what he had been down one day. It could be worse that my roommate and shimei are both safe in their bodies. The main purpose that I write down the whole process of this event is to appeal everybody must be double-careful about the dangers around him or her, especially at night. Money is lost, luck is got. Life is invaluable.

Homesick

I have become more and more homesick recently, as i have not been seeing my dear mother, father, relatives and old friends since february in this year. I have never ever been far away from home for such a long time.

I was born in Xianyang city which is a famous old city date from Emperor Qin. The famous thing about my hometown is its various characteristic foods such as red Chinese date conjee, steamed bread, biangbiang noodles, shaanxi sandwich, Pita Bread Soaked in Lamb Soup, etc. which I could not eat in ningbo at all. How eagerly do I hope I could see and eat them right now. Althoug ningbo is one of the richest city in china and has relatively developed economy, good climate and beautiful scenery, I adore my hometown and be proud of its centuries-old history and culture wherever i am.

The lovely people in my hometown are so sincere and honest that will make you feel like home. The dialect, you might know, speaked by Tongxiangyu, a landlady in the teleplay which have been broadcasting nationwild, is just our native tongue. It sounds very interesting, isn't it?

The above mentioned things are only a tip of the iceberg. I intensely recommend you to have a tour there. There are many mysteries which can not be described in words. I miss my hometown so much that I couldn't help going home immediately.

A new day

It means a new begining of my English study life. Althoug my Eng. is so bad, I would encourage myself all the time. fight to prove

it is a embarrasing to tell you that i have been in this job for about 9 monthes,and without any achievement.sometimes i wanna leave this place bringing me sorrow and depression.

one of my collegues and i were invited to ktv bar by our department manager yesterday .we entered the box,we were waved by our direct manager whose family name is qi.he said a few words after a little drunk,all were about hoping we can stay in our company.he is a good guy to make freinds,whose characteristics are confidence, justice and kind heart.that was not all,our chieve manager came to us t o say a lot. i can remember the words he said to inspire me,"you must achieve a deal,even only one armor plate,until this december to prove we didn't bebieve in wrong person." i am shocked by the words.

maybe the bad industry trend,my mild temper and my bad luck, i can find thousands of reasons like these to prove i am not the right person working here.once i leave now how my collegues will evaluate me.in the eyes of these guys,i will always be a man who has no ability and courage.i don't like such kind of things happen, so i will stay,stay in right here.i will fight to prove myself,after that i leave here.

sweety heart come again

my girl freind come back to qingdao from home.though she had been away for a couple days,i find that a long time has pasted. today it is really good to hear her sweety voice when she called me.

in the national holidays,i didn't have very good time owing to her leave.actually,i am not a man who depend on others,however,things had changed since i fell in love with her.i find things,even what used to attract me,are not interesting and unvaluable without her.

maybe it is so called love.

The autumn comes agian which is full of uncertainties and challenges. all seem like something happened yesterday,such as searching for job,studying hard,facing reverse and looking forward to future.

the past year is not a good memory to me in which i didn't achieve a satisfying goal.limited improving space,low salary and bad working emotion,all of these make me depressed.although i learned a lot from this job as how to compete,negociate and communicate with big clients,i am not satisfied with my job.

i am kind of english and confident of my ability working in the international market.in my recent job,my english didn't improve even a little and i learned nothing about the real international trade.i can't help asking to myself how about my ideal,how about my confidence,how about the active guy?i am confused of the answer.

it is time to make some changes.i should rearrange my daily schedule:keep on studying english hard,increase international trade knowledge,inject the time of playing around to studying.i must prepare well for the forthcoming opportunities. come on,big boy!

My elder sister used to tell me that english is an useful tool achieving one's career success. To take a good job,I start trying my hard to study english.With further exploring in the english world,I become more and more interested in this language.English is the worldwide language, which reduces the space distance and psychological distance between i and other countries' people.

The word,globalization,is very familiar to us.We can see that companies operates globally,economy become more and more dependent in the global market and countries cing to each other in certain ways.Globalization brings us both challenge and oppportunities.To face the challenge and hold opportunities we need english.

To improve my english,I will write daily in english every week.

Focus On Food Safety

The bad effects from the baby milk food led to people's fears across the country recently,especially for young moms with infants.It's so painful to got to know this problem,and the whole society shift its attention to the food safety in China.

The reason for this problem ,as the media reported,is that a composition named melamine was contained exceeded the quota in the milk food,which would lead to the kidney stone of infants.As the scientists said,milk with the melamine is safe for a 60--kg or heavier adult.However,when it comes to the young babies,it would be harmful because their immune system is very weak.

Every one of the society needs safety,especially for the young babies because they are too young to say out the uncomforts when suffered from diseases.Sometimes it may be too late for parents to find baby's problems.May be the only way for moms is to bring their babies to hospital to do the examine frequently.

Now it's time for the government to take efforts to make more scientific rules for our country's food safety industry.And the rules must be more clear and standard.Of course,laws related to food safety should be scientific,too.When refers to laws,China should learn something from the western countries.For example,the law should make it clear that the responsibilities of different departments to be known thoroughly.,especially for the food producers.They must be careful during the whole process of food producing.

Secondly,the related departments,for example,the Gernal administration must strengthen their supervision task.Not only includes the top departments,but also includes the primary level supervision departments across the country.Especially for the poverty---stricken areas and remote mountainous regions.It's usually hard to get the details about these areas when something like this happened,so it may be difficult to give the locals helps timely.

Moreover,the government should found an emergency---plan organization in order to obtain the information about this kind of food safety problems as quickly as possible,then the problems will be controled in the shortest time.And this organization should be a long--term one.
